At the moment the band are spending a lot of time writing new songs, with a view to showcasing them at gigs at the end of July and the whole of August.

August should be packed with gig dates throughout, whilst September will be quite a quiet month as the band are recording their second EP.
The tracklisting is very uncertain at the moment, but it is very likely that 'Demands' from the 'Alright Being From Round Here EP' is going to be recorded again and featured on the future untitled recording.

16/6/99

The band has hinted that they may be recording a special unplugged set, to be recorded in front of a live audience. Tickets for this event should be free, but the venue has not yet been announced. Some new songs will certainly be featured in the set, but some classics will obviously be included.
The band has also revealed that they are considering the following venues for gigs this August:
The Star: Brighouse, Bradford Rios, Bradford Empress, Leeds Dutchess of York and Leeds Granary Wharf. None of these venues have been confirmed, but keep posted for further news.

21/6/99

The only news that has been released is the names of two songs that the band will definitely feature on their new EP. They are:
We Got Time- Reportedly an uplifting number.
        Redeemer- A huge sounding song.
Another rumour is that the EP will contain FIVE songs, rather than four and it has been confirmed that Demands will be rerecorded for this EP.
Also it has been suggested that the band may rerecord live favorite, Liberty, for the EP. This has not been confirmed and it is more likely that two new songs will be included instead.

18/7/99

The band have confirmed that the EP will be recorded mid August and there will probably three songs instead of four. The band have suggested that the three songs will be:
        Demands
        Redeemer
        The Salesman
        or Buy Me Cars

19/7/99

The band have officially announced details of two gigs, both in early August.
They are:

Friday 6th August at The Star in Brighouse. Tickets are priced £2 and are available from
band members. Alternatively you can pay on the door although numbers are strict.
Support comes from fellow Brighouse band C-Toan. Doors open at 8pm.

Thursday 12th August at The Empress in Bradford. Admission is free.

21/7/99

The special acoustic gig that the band performed was NOT recorded and will NOT be released in the near future. The gig was so secret that only close family and friends of the band were allowed to attend. The Setlist for the gig was as follows:
                    Crush
                    Pint Glass
                    Demands
Beer Mountain- a drunken composition performed only by two of the band.
                    Oi You!

22/7/99

The band have revealed which new songs they will be premiering at August's gigs.
They will be:
                    Redeemer
                    Buy Me Cars
                    The Salesman
                    We Got Time         and
                    Exhibition Road

The songs that have not been mentioned before, The Salesman, Buy Me Cars and Exhibition Road are all relatively new. Buy Me Cars is a melodic punk style tune, similar to sensation, The Salesman is a bouncy rock tune, and Exhibition Road is an all-out rocker with a fine big chorus. Exhibition Road has somewhat of a troubled history to it. The tune was actually written about a year ago but was never played live due to various reasons. It was only very recently that the band unearthed it and gave it a new lease of life.

The band have also given their strongest hint yet that they will be playing Bradford Rio's. Keep your eyes posted to the Upcoming Dates and releases page.

Rumour has it that the band will resurrect fan favorite Oi You! for the upcoming gigs, however no setlists have been seen to confirm or deny this. The only thing that is certain, and I quote, is that: " We will not be playing Idiot Child."

24/7/99

The band have revealed which three songs they are recording for their new EP. The songs will be Demands, Redeemer and Buy Me Cars. Sources suggest that The Salesman was a strong contender also.

25/7/99

The band have revealed that they may do another acoustic gig at some point in August. Sources suggest that the venue for this will be Granary Wharf in Leeds but this has not been confirmed by anyone. In fact it is just a rumour which may have little truth to it.

It has been confirmed that Oi You! ( or All Of You, as it is sometimes peculiarly known ) is to be kept in the band's repertoire of songs.

28/7/99

The band have revealled that they will try their best to record perenial gig favourite Pint Glass for their forthcoming EP. The as yet untitled EP will be recorded near the beginning of August and will include new songs Redeemer, Buy Me Cars and a rerecording of Demands. This rerecording will feature a much better sound and larger, more impressive instrumentation. The tracklisting for the EP will be:
    1) Redeemer
    2) Demands
    3) Buy Me Cars
    4) Pint Glass

As previously mentioned the EP has no name yet but singer Dan has put forward some suggestions:  Brighter EP, Redeemer EP, Can I Be Somebody EP, All Of You EP, Twelve Hours EP. None of these have been confirmed or denied.

30/7/99

There will be hardly any news from the band for a while now, due to the fact they will be practicing intensly before the 6th of August gig and their weekend recording sessions. The next news will probably be on the 9th of August after the recording session and the Star gig.

9/8/99

The band has recorded their first proper EP. Produced by Steve Whitfield at Beaumont Street Studios, the Redeemer EP has three songs. The tracklisting is:

    1) Buy Me Cars
    2) Redeemer
    3) Exhibition Road

Buy Me Cars is a very punky song with vocals handled by Dan with Jam on backing. This song was placed first due to it's explosive nature. For those that were at the two August gig, they will know that this is already a live favourite.

Redeemer is the centrepiece of the EP. This song took the longest to record, with piano, many backing vocal tracks and backward guitar in places. Backing vocals were handled by Tanya and Dan, giving the song a most impressive quality.

Exhibition Road is a more straight forward rock tune. This song features many stops and starts and is the most ' normal ' song on the EP.

10/4/00

First entry of the new millenium. Site has some images added. Hoping to get some of the band up. Maybe some gigs coming up this summer. Wait and see!!
