Here is a rare interview with two of the band members.

Does Glazed have anything to offer in present times?

D: Definitely.
J: We've been away but we're back to bring rock back into the hearts of our fans.

What have you been doing for so long?

D: We've writing some more quality songs, which we're all pleased with.
J: Yeah, we've been away getting better. New songs, new sound, new tackle.

What is this new sound that you mention?

D: It's a clearer, more sophisticated sound. Gone are the days of muffled noise. We're much happier with this sound and the fans won't be disappointed either.

What are the new songs like?

J: They're in their early stages at the moment, but they sound really good. You'll be able to hear them at gigs before the EP is released.

Why wasn't the ' Alright Being From Round Here EP ' made widely available?

D: Because it was crap. The production was rubbish and it just sounded really poor. One song that was featured, Demands, will be rerecorded for the new EP.

What about the semi-mythical ' Rio EP '?

D: Well that was never meant to be released. Only close friends have got copies of that. I don't actually know where the master copy of that is. It isn't really a recording that is neccessary to be released, it's just us live.
I don't think it would sell, maybe a few for curiosity value.

Talking about live tapes, when are you playing live again?

D+J: August.
J: We don't know when exactly. All that I can tell you is there will definitely be a gig in the first week of August.

What about the rumoured July accoustic gig?

J: I don't know where that came from ( smiles ). It might happen, that's all I'm saying.

Finally, when will the new EP come out, and what will it be called?

D: It is untitled so far but will probaby come out in early-mid September.

Thanks for your time.
